![]() For more information, see CVE-2017-16513. Thanks to Kevin McGuigan, at 7 Elements, who reported this issue. ![]() ![]() The application code was modified to only allow certain length strings in the UI and underlying handlers. Some fields (local search and backup locations) in WS_FTP Professional allowed users to input data that could possibly overflow local buffers. In previous releases, changing directories in some devices such as IBM iSeries and AS/400 failed. Updated WS_FTP Professional to allow access to directories for hardware/software devices (for example, IBM iSeries, AS/400). Clear the “Enable read ahead” option to correct the reported issue with NetApp devices. In previous releases, transferring file sizes between 3K and 20K using SFTP to/from a NetApp device resulted in 0 length file transfers. Version 12.6.0.3Īdded a checkbox, “Enable read ahead,” to the UI that allows users to enable/disable the read file ahead behavior. This document contains information on how to install and configure WS_FTP Professional.
